I just found out he'd been seeing someone else for at least a month before he discarded me. She's really nice and met his children too. Obviously she's ended things with him, but while I feel so angry and hurt, I also feel vindicated. He told her we were just 'friends with benefits', which hurt even more, because it was so much more to me.

This is the first time I'm aware of...goodness knows how many other women he'd been in touch with. I was in love with him, for him to minimalize what we shared like that was so hurtful.
i found out he was lining someone else up before he “ended” us too. and the way he downplayed what we had? called it casual like i imagined the whole thing. that part really HURT. the anger and the vindication can sit in the same place, i swear
