I’ve known him since we were 6 and we’ve been in the same class since but we only really started talking when we were 16.
We talked for two years and last year he asked for space and he told me he kinda found someone else and as soon as he said that, I pulled away completely. We went from talking everyday to not talking at all. I was depressed asf.
Then fast foward on New Year’s Eve around 11pm, we somehow started texting again. We stayed up texting until 4am catching up on everything we missed. After that we stopped again for a few days but I felt like I finally got some closure so I was alright.
Then in February, he asked to hang out and we did. The tension was still there so we haven’t seen each other in person again since. Now we just text everyday as friends.
Rn idk what to do, I'm confused.

Doesn't it hurt to text him and consider him as a friend ? Does your heart manage to see him this way easily ?
It does hurt sometimes, I try to treat him like just a friend but I still have feelings for him and idek if I'd ever be able to love someone else like that
@Snowyvibes what about him ? did he get involved in a relationship with that someone he found ? is he even feeling a little bit of love towards you ? Overall, how is he living the situation ?

@Snowyvibes I feel like this is always a lot easier to say that it is to actually do, and moreover, easier to spot when it's not your own situation. I am currently in denial, the break up just happened, I wish we stayed together and tried to fix everything. Despite that, I feel like you should just limit your contact with him and simply live your life, you need to appreciate yourself, and when it'll be done, finding someone else could be the solution
