Is it my fault he lost feelings?

hey you’re holding yourself responsible for his feelings. i did the same when my ex lost interest, but later realized it was more about where he was than about me.

i asking that too when mine left. i thought if i was better, sweeter, different, he wouldn’t have. but feelings fade sometimes and it isn’t on you to carry all of it.

i asked myself that same thing when my ex pulled away. i replayed everything i said, everything i did, like maybe if i hadn’t done this one thing he’d still love me. truth is he just stopped trying. i blamed myself for months when really he checked out first.

No, I don't think so. A lot of people tend to lose feelings overtime, which I find normal, but that is their problem not yours at all. They can also talk to you about it, not break up with you which makes it pretty selfish. It's a problem that can be resolved you know? He chose not to and leave you and that makes him the weaker guy in this story. You now have the job to become a better version of yourself and forget about him after some time, be kind to yourself:)
