the mind does that when someone is still fresh. every thought, every sign gets tied back to her. it isn’t crazy, it’s just how the brain hangs on.
i thought little coincidences were the universe telling me he’d show up again. really it was just me missing him so much that i saw him everywhere.

@yearningwei the clishe is telling you to sit with your emotions but in reality there’s only so much sitting you can do. I would suggest that you take things for how they are being presented to you. sometimes the hope is comforting. I get that I really do! but the small “signs” can leave you feeling dissatisfied when or if it turns out not to be the case. clear vision is the best way for your own sanity!
i used to think every song on the radio was about her. every random number that texted me i hoped was her. looking back it was just my brain messing with me like refusing to let go. it drove me insane.
i hope no one will feel like this again :(
