it's hard to grieve for someone who's still alive

it’s like the body knows they’re gone but the world keeps proving they’re not. that split is what makes it feel so off.

thinking the same thing. it felt unreal to mourn someone i could still run into at the store. my heart couldn’t catch up with my brain for months.

I know this feeling! Hang on, I promise it gets better

i hated that feeling. like why are you breathing and walking around while i’m here grieving like you died. i felt stupid crying over someone who still posted stories like nothing happened.
