He insists on staying friends and we actually get a long really well as friends but everytime i find out about another girl it hurts me so I know I can’t be friends with him but i also hate the idea of him being depressed and needing someone to talk to and me just ignoring him. what should i do?

girl don’t stay as friends if you still have feelings for him. same happened to me. he said we could at least be there for each other if we stay as friends but i refused to. it’ll hurt you more than it does him. you should walk away, even if it’s hard. trust me, i wanted to stay but because i couldn’t stand the idea of him getting with someone new so i walked away
