He said he needs a break. Do I keep texting him during this time or just let him be. because him saying break could mean really long days and it's hard for me here to just get through the days normally.

if he asked for space, let him have it. it sucks, i know, but giving that distance sometimes brings more clarity than constant texting ever could. focus on you for now, even if it feels impossible.

I know it's hard but if you keep messaging him it can push his away more. Let him be the one to message first and try to keep replies simple and short. What I did at the start was write down what I wanted to say on paper then burn the paper. That way it felt like my message was being said and it had gotten it out. Idk if that makes sense
