you say he’s the only one who understands you, what parts of you does he see that you feel others don’t? like is it your pain, your history, or the way you love?
i was with someone who felt like my only safe place too, even over my own family. when he started pulling away “for his peace,” it felt like my whole support system was being ripped out at once. that tug of war messes with your head so bad.
the same thing happened to me and no1 knew or understood why I was turning into this sad and quiet person when I was once so active
