we broke up back in november. he ended things because i wasn’t fully honest about a class trip in june. nothing actually happened i was just talking to classmates but i downplayed it and lied about a few things because i didn’t want to upset him. that ended up breaking his trust.
we tried to fix things after that. we even moved in together in august to work on it but it didn’t really help. he gave us one more fresh start in october but by then it was already too damaged and we split.
after the breakup we cut all contact and unfollowed each other everywhere. but at the end of february he suddenly started checking my tiktok almost every day. around the same time he had been posting about another girl then switched to reposts about not being mad anymore and missing someone.
now i’m just confused. i don’t know if any of it is about me or someone else. part of me really wants to reach out but i also feel like i shouldn’t be the one to do it since he’s the one who left.

do you feel like hearing from him would actually give you peace, or would it just open everything back up again?
i get why you want to reach out, that curiosity is LOUD, but for me every time i broke no contact it just reset my healing back to zero.
i’ve been there with the whole she is watching but not saying anything” thing. my ex used to lurk on my stories for months and it kept me stuck in that maybe loop, it messes with your head more than silence does
