so something happened that I accidentally talked to my ex (we are cool) so I told him about the conversation n he became angry and we talked it out then two days later he just went quite it's been a week since we last talked. He logged out of my socials and unfollowed me. ik it's over but he assured me that everything was fine

when someone goes quiet like that after saying it’s okay, i started taking the silence as the answer even when i didn’t want to. it hurt, but it stopped me from waiting on mixed signals.
my ex did the same thing, said everything was fine after a hard talk and then just disappeared like i imagined the whole connection. that switch from reassurance to silence really messes with your head
