I’m at my college rn and I have to wait until the time my class starts. For the last two years I had my boyfriend with me and the time passed so fast until we had a class. Luckily (notice my sarcasm) none of my friends have classes today so, I am feeling so lonely rn. Help.

you used to have someone filling that space, now it feels like a void. that’s why the minutes stretch longer than they used to.
i remember that gap between classes when my ex used to sit with me. when he wasn’t there anymore the silence felt so loud. i’d just scroll my phone pretending i was busy.
i hated those hours. sitting on campus, watching couples walk past, feeling like i was the only idiot alone. time dragged like torture.
I get it, waiting for class to start can be awkward, especially when you're used to having someone to hang out with. Since your friends are all busy with classes, here are a few things you could do to pass the time:
- *Grab a coffee or snack*: Treat yourself to something nice and take your mind off the wait.
- *People-watch*: Sit back, observe the people around you, and maybe even make up stories about them in your head.
- *Get a head start on your classwork*: Use this time to review your notes, read ahead, or work on any assignments.
- *Listen to music or podcasts*: Put on your favorite playlist or listen to a podcast that interests you.
- *Take a walk around campus*: Get some fresh air and stretch your legs before class starts.
Try to focus on something that relaxes you or gets you excited for the day ahead. Before you know it, your class will start, and you'll be busy engaging with your coursework.
Thanks you so much!!
I will practice them
