we broke up in december, and on Friday night we saw each other out. he said he regretted what he'd done and wanted me back in his life. but when I saw him, he laughed and acted disrespectfully towards me to show off to his friends. as much as I'm angry with him now, I miss him, and maybe I still hope he can change.

do you think he actually wants you back, or does he just want to know he still can?
when someone says they regret it but their actions don’t match, i’ve learned to trust the actions. missing him doesn’t mean you’re weak. it just means you loved him. but disrespect in public… that part would’ve really HURT for me.
ex did the SAME thing. texted me about regrets, then acted cold and cocky in front of his friends like i was nothing. that switch up is humiliating. i was angry too, but i still missed him. it’s such a mind mess
just let him go, there are better things coming. the things you lost will bring back a better one:)
