the other day he started hitting up another girl. that girl supposedly being my friends friend. she has a boyfriend and he didn’t know it at the time, and he was giving her his undivided attention that he never gave me. it hurts because while i was waiting for him, my heart aching and yearning for him to come back while he was infatuated on another girl

that part where you said he gave her attention he never gave you… yeah that one hurts. do you feel like he always held back with you, even before the breakup?
i’m gonna be real, i had to stop keeping tabs on who my ex was talking to. every new name or rumor just reopened the wound for me. muting everything was the only thing that gave my brain a little quiet.
i waited for my ex too while he was already chasing someone else and it felt like my chest was getting crushed every time i heard about it. that feeling of waiting while they move on so fast is brutal
