so today, after (for me) a long time I decided to stalk the insta of my ex again, just to see if there would be something new. There was.
He has now a 'V♡' after his username. like: 'his Name/V♡' (his name doesn't start with V). I am a little bit confused because thats not the place where you would normaly link your new girlfriend. like, normal would be marking her in the bio but not in his name.
I know that it doesn't matter because it changes nothing, whatever the answer is and I can't control anything but I am confused and my brain wont stop thinking about it. I still like him and would love to have updates of his live but dont want him back. I would be happy if he found someone new but the uncertainty makes me think. I cant ask him, so there are just speculations.
So what do you think? new girl or something else

i used to stare at tiny profile changes like he was clues in some mystery because my brain just needed an answer. half the pain was honestly the uncertainty and all the stories i created in my head after.

but I think I am fine again. just told myself that it doesn't matter. if it is a new girl than he know her days, weeks or even months before he wrote it in his Profil so what should be different now. -nothing
so it is okay and I have myself now under control again :)
Still being curious about an ex when both of you have moved on and with new partners is just you putting yourself and your new partner in agony. So what if that’s his new girlfriend? or his new pet? It shouldn’t be bothering you and if it does, then you’re not over them.
i’m curious though, if you found out tomorrow that it really IS a new girl, do you think the pain would come from still loving him or more from feeling replaced/confused?
maybe feeling replaced. I would be happy for him. I have a new boyfriend too so why shouldnt he be happy and have a new girl. I just was so hurtful to reflect all the negativ thinks (that was a lot) and I dont wish that any other girl. But I also dont think, that he and the situation with his parents didnt change
