he said that he tried to love me but he couldn’t..but he told me before that he loved me so much and can’t live without me..why he lied to me when he said that he loved my!!!

my ex used to swear i was his whole world, then later acted like none of it was real. i don’t think he was lying in the moment, i think some people mean things when they say them but can’t stay consistent with those feelings
I saw him now … it’s to hard
that kind of sentence cuts DEEP. what helped me eventually was realizing i was obsessing over whether my ex lied instead of accepting that the relationship still hurt me either way

when he told you he “tried” to love you, did it feel like he was being cold and detached or more like someone confused with himself too
cold and say it without feelings..he told me also that he don’t want to see my face again

tried to love you. that's a joke you either love someone (over time) or you don't. He probably has no idea what love is. Looks like he wants out. best to let him go. if he realizes what he Lost in you, he may come back. but don't count on it. move on. work on what makes you a really good catch and the right man will come along. make no contact. the best punishment is silence let hiim wonder what you're up now. your friend

I don't want to cause any more harm but if he really loved you giving up wouldn't have been an option. and if he told you before it's probably just his way of using words to achieve what he wants but don't ever let the make you think less of yourself just because someone couldn't love you the way you deserve doesn't mean you can't do it yourself
