Why breaking up after 8 years feels so hard

That's for long, you basically grew together and probably know each other more than anyone.

that kind of history gets woven into EVERYTHING. i was with my ex from 17 to 25 and when it ended i didn’t even know who i was without him anymore. it felt like grieving my whole youth at once.
