It's going to be close to two months since he broke up with me and all I feel is rage. the rage isn't directed at him in isolation, unfortunately our situation got complicated because a whole bunch of people we were close to got involved too. i feel anger towards them because all i even did was show kidness to him and his family because they were going through a really difficult time. they're horrible people with how they handled the entire situation and i mostly feel used.

PEOPLE around the relationship hurts in such a different way. i went through something similar where his family leaned on me during their mess, then treated me like i was disposable once things fell apart.
it literally is just that, disposable. there isn't a better way to describe it because it's just so apt. it's laughable really, because there was once a time where his mother leaned on my mother for so much support, she literally drove to our house and bawled her eyes out in front of her and she even said i was like a daughter to her. people are terrible and i hate that they lie. it's the hypocrisy for me.
if any of them have actually acknowledged how badly they handled this with you, or did they just expect you to quietly absorb all of it and disappear?
none of them have said anything, i reached out to his mother twice and radio silence. they're an avoidant family. in a way I'm glad i wasn't caught up in that...i was saved as many people keep telling me. but right now i just feel like a loser. i never wanted anything in my life so badly.
i think your anger makes sense. when i stopped trying to force myself to “be mature” and admitted i was pissed, things finally started moving a little instead of staying trapped inside me all day.
im coming out of my anger phase. I would take it over going back into the sadness im feeling again
its okay. Take it as a lesson. and promise urself wont happen next time.will not be gaslighted wid anyone
