she met some random guy on a trek and just like that 10 years of us disappeared. all i got was “sorry for everything” before she walked away. feels crazy how a whole decade of love, memories, energy and loyalty can end so fast.
has anyone else ever been left like this out of nowhere?

Sometimes people just have a "...Oh. I don't love him anymore" moment. I think my ex had one of those. Especially if they keep it quiet and in their head, that festers and quickly eats away at the relationship in a way nothing else quite does.
10 years is brutal. I hope you're doing alright.
10 years is a whole lifetime of routines and memories. what helped me a little was stopping myself from calling it “wasted time” because i was real the whole way through, even if she wasn’t in the end.
did this really feel out of nowhere to you or were there tiny changes before the trek that you maybe ignored because you trusted her completely?
It is what it is. Nothing helps, only time heals. Be with people who care for you. It will be difficult.
