when you see them in this new light, are you remembering actual good moments with them, or are you filling in the empty space that loneliness leaves behind?
i stopped asking myself if i missed him and started asking if i just missed having someone there. those turned out to be two very different things.
i'd be lonely for one night and suddenly my brain would start acting like my ex was some misunderstood angel instead of the person who made me cry for months.
I totally get this!!
