I walked away from a long-term relationship three months ago. I won't get into all the details but by the end we had stopped feeling like a team. We barely communicated and it felt like I was the only one trying to fix what was falling apart.
The first two months were nothing but heartbreak. Every day felt heavy. Then last month something shifted. I started having small moments where I felt okay again. I found some motivation to work on myself and believed I was finally moving forward.
Then last week everything hit me all over again.
Now I feel even worse than I did in those first days after the breakup. I'm struggling to accept that this is how it ended. I feel unattractive hard to love and like every part of my life is starting to crack. I'm exhausted from fighting for everything. Right now I can't picture a future that feels hopeful. I honestly thought I was getting better but out of nowhere it all came crashing back down.

i stopped judging myself for those crashes because i had so many of them after my breakup. i started looking at the good days as proof they existed, even when the bad ones came back.
i was finally turning a corner, then one random week it all came back and i felt like i'd lost every bit of progress. it didn't mean i was back at the beginning, even though it sure felt like it
when you say you feel hard to love, is that something you believed before this relationship, or did the breakup make you start seeing yourself that way?
