Can't say I don't miss her, but I'm glad I've learned to not let my thoughts control me.
But damn man, everywhere I go, I just see us. Got a job for this summer recently, and on my way there, there are just small things that we used to do. Even on my way to the gym. I mean, my first real love can't be forgotten. After all, she was the first one to show me that true love exists. I am grateful for this lesson. And the one reading this should know that you can be loved just for who you are. The right person will accept you for your imperfections because no one is perfect.
I still carry the guilt of pushing her away because of my overthinking and insecurities, but the truth is that we cannot change what already had happened, we can only change what we do now. And I'm sure that I am gonna try my best to not let my thoughts control me, nor exhaust my partner.
We should use the pain in our lives as lessons, so I know my actions will be different from now on, even though I wish I knew this sooner. I am still grateful that God gave me the opportunity to be loved and face real love, and even though it remained as a lesson, it's a gift I won't forget.
Take care guys, I know you got it.

i still think about the little routes we used to take too. it's weird how a random street or coffee shop can bring everything back
glad you can see your part without tearing yourself apart over it. the thing that helped me was remembering that guilt taught me more than beating myself up ever did.
if she came back today, do you feel like you'd show up differently now, or do you think this chapter was always meant to stay a lesson?
good question, to be honest I would be curious how it would be , cuz i love her a lot , but yeah , I would be different, or if it's meant to stay a lesson , I'll accept it, glad I learned what I learned.
