We met during our summer internship last year. From the very beginning he made me feel so special. He'd bring me chocolates and fruits carry my bag tie my shoelaces if they came undone help me with work and we'd spend almost the entire day together from morning runs and breakfast to late-night walks after dinner.
I'd never been this close to a guy before or been in a relationship so all of it felt new. I slowly fell for him.
As we got closer we became comfortable around each other. Then one day right after I confessed my feelings he kissed me without asking. I kept waiting for him to say he felt the same but he stayed silent. After what felt like forever he just said he was thirsty and kissed me again. I was confused and honestly shocked.
Later that day he finally told me he'd been thinking about whether a relationship between us could even work because I was a city girl and he came from a rural family. I asked for some time to think but before I could even respond he took it back and said we shouldn't be together. I was left heartbroken.
We didn't talk for two days. He never reached out. Eventually I was the one who tried to fix things and somehow we ended up dating anyway.
Not long after that he decided to continue his internship from home and left. Once again I was the one trying to hold everything together. Throughout our relationship every fight ended the same way. He would leave and I'd be the one begging him to stay because I genuinely loved him.
Now it's happened again except this time he's completely ghosted me. No explanation no goodbye nothing.
I'm trying to keep going because I have work every day but honestly even getting through basic daily tasks feels exhausting. Meanwhile he has had two whole months to move on before starting his job and I'm still here trying to make sense of everything.

i was with someone who kept walking away every time things got hard, and somehow i always ended up apologizing just to keep us together. when he finally ghosted me, i realized i'd been carrying the whole relationship by myself.
looking back now, do you feel like he ever fought for the relationship the way you fought for him, or was it mostly you trying to keep it alive?
ik how it feels
I know it feels sad but look at his character, he's a terrible human and you wanna be be loved by someone like that? You are better than that. Even if you don't love yourself, I personally believe you deserve better. Even if you have done the most terrible things in your life, I think you deserve a bit better than this. If you need a friend, I'm here
Hey! Can we talk as a friend?
