I just got off the worst sales call I’ve ever been on with a sales rep for a popular men’s breakup coach on Instagram. This guy tried to slam me into a $2,500 investment without any time to review my options or even a recap email. He said my objection to taking some time to review my options and check reviews before handing over $2,500 to an influencer I just found entertaining in my IG algorithm was “a smokescreen”.
I need an accountability system to stop checking on my ex online. I also want to figure out how I can do better with dating in the future. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to start?

The issue is that he was trying to get me to pay on the spot and it was our first time talking.
i was so desperate to stop checking my ex that i would've paid almost anything if someone sounded confident enough. i'm really glad i slept on it instead.
Yeah I think it’s straight-up predatory. I’m surprised these guys haven’t been exposed in some way, especially this program that is marketed to men. The sales rep was implying that I was some sort of pussy for not committing to $2,500 on our first call. If that tactic has worked on lonely, now heartbroken men younger and more impressionable than me, I would be livid.
