I texted my ex that I was reporting my boss for assaulting me. Just in case cuz hes super aggressive, has a prison record so I wanted to warn him in case he retaliatescuz he has a prison record and his address and another manager told me he is really aggressive. he told me to leave him out of it? what a guy im so pissed he is an absolutely horrible person the pull to try to come back is too strong. I can't do this anymore. and I can't forget his stupid number. help!!! this is too much

when i was stuck in that pull to go back, i had to stop reaching for the person who kept hurting me and start calling someone safe instead.
being in a scary situation with my ex and still wanting him to be the person who protected me, it hurt realizing he couldn't show up that way. please be gentle with yourself tonight
i can hear how overwhelmed you are. when you texted him about your boss, were you hoping he would protect you, or were you mostly scared of what your boss might do next?
