I just wanna text him without caring about all the reasons I shouldn’t. Yes, he would fight for me if he wanted me but I don’t want to think about that. I want to chat with him, to see how he is doing.

wanting to text my ex just to hear anything from him, even when i knew i was hoping for more than a simple “how are you.” that pull can feel SO loud.
I texted my ex the first day of no contact. We had agree to not talk all summer. But I was the one that ended things originally. the first day I caved and poured my heart and soul out to him because I hated the feeling of not having him in my life anymore. He texted me back and told me that he agreed that we should no longer be together. He Had to text me no 3 times in order for me to stop bargaining and fully stop texting him. So basically, it was a mutual breakup. So I say dont text him. I regret doing it. it was just my nervous system going crazy at the time. I regret it because I wanted to feel like a bad ass, but instead I came back begging for him, only to get rejected by the person I loved. So I say dont do it. hold your ground, find something else to do, and take your power back. things will feel differently overtime. You got this!
do it . do it till u realise that u have done all of u could to keep him. at one moment u will realise that he would fight back no matter what and u should not embarrass yourself anymore
as horrible as this sounds, picture him looking at your name popping up on his phone after you’ve texted and he
rolls his eyes and says “for god sake why won’t she go away, not again”.
i understand and have had this same feeling before when I was in a relationship with someone who always did the push-pull type behavior. Do you think it might help if you went for a long walk, maybe even leaving your phone at home?
I can distract myself but I keep coming back to the idea of texting him. I can’t imagine not chatting with him and it’s hard waiting for him
@SleepyFairy I know, it takes a long time to get used to the new routine and lifestyle of no contact. The good thing is that it's a time to focus on you and your healing. It does get easier, day by day. You've got this and I believe in you! :)
@SleepyFairy It’s okay to keep thinking about that kind of stuff, new routine is hard. But name the desire or feeling behind it and process it so you can move on. It’s okay to miss talking to him. Just say, I miss talking to him, and I feel sad, and move on eith your day.
