So today is exactly one month since we broke up and last saw eachother. And 7 days of no contact, which is the longest time of no texting.
One month of not kissing him, hugging, having sex, one month since the last time I heard his voice saying he loves me. One month since we last woke up and drank coffee in the couch I’m sitting in now. Fuck, it really hurts. i really don’t know if i am ever going to get over him. I think about him EVERY day still and miss him extremely much. I don’t panic cry like i did the entire first week and couldn’t breathe, but my heart hurts so bad. I keep re-reading old texts and checking his Instagram every day. I notice when he follows someone new, or gets a new follower. When am i ever going to stop caring about him? i keep searching for signs just to see that he’s alive.
7 days of not texting. I wonder if he ever reads old text or are looking at pictures of me. Does he miss me like I miss him? it hurts every day and i just miss him so, so much. i still love him deeply and i feel like i’m never going to stop loving him. not seeing his name on my screen anymore hurts so bad.

i used to check my ex’s socials and read old messages too, hoping i’d find some sign that i still mattered.
i understand to some extent, but as someone who has a therapist and brought this up, you need to try to not check their socials. it gives you that energy like when you were together that keeps you coming back for interaction. i know that it is so extremely hard to not check his socials and reread messages, but it will help so much in the long run. i wish you the best in this journey.
damn, i can feel how much you still love him. when you check his instagram or reread texts, does it bring you comfort for a moment or does it leave you feeling even more broken after?
I'm on the same boat right now
I feel you
being one month out and feeling like every little thing was a reminder, even the quiet moments at home. that first stretch of no contact felt impossible, but i promise your heart does slowly stop reaching for them every second.
