I’ve come to understand something important. When you spoke about financial freedom, you weren’t rejecting me, you were pursuing something meaningful to you. I regret that I didn’t see that sooner.
Growing up, I carried a strong belief that a man should always be the provider. That mindset shaped the way I viewed things, and instead of listening carefully, I reacted through that lens. Looking back, I should have listened more and assumed less.
I know now that it was never about needing my money. What you wanted was my time, my love, my support, and a safe place where you felt understood. The small things mattered most.
Recently, while driving through the Saudi landscape, I found myself reflecting deeply. The quiet, the open space, and the beauty of nature gave me clarity. It helped me recognize things about myself that I hadn’t fully understood before.
I’m grateful for that realization, even if it came later than it should have. I don’t expect anything from it, I simply wanted to acknowledge it and wish you nothing but peace, happiness, and success on your journey. ❤️

i'm glad you could own your part without turning it into guilt.
i had a moment like that months after my breakup, where i finally understood what my ex had been asking for all along. that kind of clarity can hurt because it comes after the chance to do things differently.
did you get the chance to tell them any of this, or are these the words you wish they could hear someday?
