He said he will message me in a year because now I have to recover from my OCD, and focus on exams. He broke up after almost 2 years because my OCD made him tired. But he said he will handle it like 1000 times. He was also gentle with me, so many surprises, he was in love. And suddenly he decides he doesn't want to fix it even if I stop talking to him about rocd. I think he lies about a year. Because he already said he doesn't miss me a lot. He's blocked on everything, because I begged him.

I read all your posts because I didn’t want to say something insensitive or give you the wrong advice. I’ve struggled with OCD too, and I know how exhausting it can be when it affects a relationship. So please don’t blame yourself. Make yourself and your recovery your priority right now.
He may have told you that he would always be there for you and that he could handle this a thousand times, but right now, he isn’t there. A relationship takes two people, and fixing everything is not your responsibility alone. OCD wasn’t something you chose.
But I want you to ask yourself something: Even if he came back in a year, would you really want to go through the same relationship and the same problems again? If your OCD and anxiety are making you suffer this much right now, please focus on getting better for yourself first.
And if he is already talking to another girl, would you genuinely be able to accept him coming back after a year? I don’t think you should hold on to his promise that he’ll come back in a year. Nobody knows what will happen a year from now. Don’t give yourself a date to wait for or put your life on hold waiting for him.
I’m also a very anxious person in relationships, and I know that this was one of the problems in my own relationship too. But when you start focusing on yourself, you gradually become able to understand your emotions and see more clearly what was actually wrong in the relationship.
Please don’t hate yourself for this. You’re not a bad person, and this isn’t all your fault. You simply struggled to manage your OCD and anxiety. I’ve been through it too, and I know it’s something you can work on. Right now, the best thing you can do is stop wondering when he’ll come back and start focusing on getting better for yourself.
if someone has blocked me and already said they don't miss me much, i try to believe what they're showing me instead of the promise about the future. that was the only thing that started giving me a little peace.
do you want to wait because he clearly asked you to, or because you're scared that letting go means you'll lose the chance forever?
i waited for someone who said "maybe later," and i built my whole year around that hope. it kept me stuck way longer than i wanted.
