Hey π,
Random thought after my morning push-ups πͺπ½β¦
Before work pulls me in, I wanted to ask you something.
Can I ask you something that's been on my mind? π
Have you ever had someone love you beyond your beauty someone who genuinely appreciated your mind, your character, and your heart more than your appearance?
And if you have... did it ever scare you?
I don't mean fear in the sense of danger. I mean the kind of fear that comes from being truly seen. Did it ever make you want to pull away or even resent the person because their love felt too deep, too vulnerable, or too difficult to receive?
I'm curious because sometimes I wonder whether being loved at that depth can be unsettling for someone who's not ready for it. πΏπ€

i used to pull away from someone who loved me deeply because receiving that kind of love made me feel exposed, and honestly, i had no idea how to just let someone care for me.
do you think the person was actually afraid of being loved that deeply, or afraid of what theyβd have to face in themselves if they accepted it?
being loved for the parts of me i was insecure about honestly scared me more than i expected. i kept wondering when theyβd finally see something i couldnβt hide.
