hi, its officially 100 days of no contact and well it was not easy at all. there were so many nights I just wanted to reach out and tell him how much I wanted him but when I got those thoughts I distracted myself by continuing to work on myself I am so proud of myself. The only thing I need to work on is to stop looking at his social media accounts I guess it has been a habit of mine. I notice that I overthink for example (Self harm:Warning) he was posting with guns an AR-15 rifle and a handgun and i got scared because I remember him telling me he was going to get a gun to unalive himself but I know that he has his family there and if he was struggling I would only make things worse. But sometimes I do worry about his safety but I know its best that we live our seperate lives. I just started my sophmore year of college and am trying my best to continue not to look at the social media accounts and have good grades, join clubs and make great friendships and connections. its tough at times but i have faith everything will work out in the end.

i’ve been there with the social media checking, it became such an automatic habit for me. deleting the shortcuts and making my phone boring for a while helped me stop feeding those thoughts, and college gave me something real to put my energy into.
reaching 100 days and still having that tiny part of me wanting to check on my ex. seeing her online made me feel responsible for things that were no longer mine to carry. and honestly, i’m proud of you for choosing your own life again.
this is a such an achievement, be proud of yourself ❤️
I am so happy for you. Really. Good luck.
