She was warm and talkative at first, but as the year passed she became very...unkind.
She was also struggling with her mental health, but her bad trait was throwing her pain on others to spite them.
She had a superiority complex, in some way and slowly started leeching off of my interests, my people-
And I first ignored the signs until seeing she did the same with people with her before.
I hate people like her, who have no identity themselves and only bring you down with them without feeling sorry.
All throughout I never once insulted her, spited her because I loved her.
But she is such a dead cycle, she has not changed.
It only brings me pain.
We are still in contact, but I always left first after it got too toxic and abusive.
She gaslit me, but I had no choice but to flee.

you never spited her back even while she gaslit you and that takes real strength, but staying in contact keeps the door cracked for the same pain. the only thing that finally helped me was going fully silent so my body could stop bracing for the next wave.
are you still reaching out first sometimes or is it mostly her pulling you back in when things get quiet?
ugh this hits hard. i had someone who started so warm then slowly drained every interest i had until i barely recognized myself, same superiority thing where nothing was ever their fault. the way they just cycle through people without changing is the part that still makes my stomach drop.
