He came back and I ended up opening the door again for things between us.
However, this time I will not take the role of moving the relationship forward. I will wait for his concrete actions (not words - there have been already too many words without any action).
If he does not act, I won't either, so in that case I might well forget about him.

i’ve been there, giving someone another chance and realizing i was still the one carrying the whole relationship. waiting for actions instead of promises saved me from repeating that cycle.
