my ex who broke up with me almost 1 month ago said we should take space and work on ourselves to then see where we are in a couple months or so but the last week or so she has been going into our discord in which we share with a couple of mutuals and it has triggered me to break no contact a couple of times because I feel like she isn’t taking the space she needs by going to the place that we met! Not to mention I see every time she goes on because we are friends on Xbox

that mixed signals stuff will drive you completely out of your mind. i remember watching my ex pop up in shared servers after telling me we needed distance, and every notification felt like a tiny grenade going off in my stomach.
i had to mute those shared servers and remove them from my active friends list for my own sanity. it felt harsh at the time, but as long as you're seeing those online status popups, you're letting her stay in your head rent free.
