I fell so worthless. He promised he'll come back in a year but It was a lie. He's already talking to a new girl and he blocked me on everything. We have been together for almost 2 years. He treated me so good, he seemed to be in love but he was still able to leave me. On a random Wednesday. I miss him so much. How to get rid of that little hope that he'll come back even though I'll never trust him again?

i had to stop waiting for the promised return date and start treating the breakup as real, even though a part of me still hoped. every time i caught myself imagining them coming back, i reminded myself that i deserved someone who chose me without making me wait a year.
if you knew for certain he would never come back, what do you think would hurt the most to let go of, him specifically or the future you thought you were going to have with him?
holding onto that stupid little promise that they’ll come back even while everything they’re doing says otherwise. seeing someone i loved move on so quickly made me feel replaceable too, and damn, that hurt in a way i wasn’t ready for
you are not worthless.. you more than worthy. his unnecessary cruelty is not reflective of the person you are but of him. people (men) who block and avoid the women they dated out of the blue are just plain ugly (inside and out). thinks will get better even though it takes time! trust, I have been through a similar situation with somone I knew for 14 years (literally half of my life). holding on to the idea that he used (past tense) to treat you good, does not change the relationship that he currently (present tense) does not treat you well. people who behave like this will keep the cycle going until we decide to explore the possibility of our bright futures. the hope you have left will dissappear over time. be kind to yourself!
