i had to stop feeding the crush with little things, checking their socials, replaying conversations, imagining different outcomes. every time i caught myself doing it, i’d switch to something else instead of arguing with my own brain.

liking someone who just doesn’t feel the same way back and somehow your brain makes them the MAIN character all day. i remember knowing it was going nowhere and still checking my phone hoping for something from them.
Honestly, that’s the worst part 😭 knowing they don’t feel the same but still not being able to turn your feelings off. Give yourself time, you’ll get over him eventually.
