My partner recently ended our relationship after dating since last December. Although I am a married mom who usually dates partnered people we fell in love and I disclosed in July that I was starting my own divorce process. He initially expressed enthusiasm for our future but soon began showing "all-or-nothing" tendencies flaking on plans and canceling our usual date night to see another person.
During our last overnight visit I asked for clearer communication and expressed that I prioritize him. He promised to do better and encouraged me to open up about my split from my financially dependent husband. Shortly after he completely cut off text communication for a full weekend. When I confronted him he broke up with me—stating he wants a primary nesting partner (NP/s) needs to focus on relationships heading in that direction and refuses to be my "escape."
I am devastated and questioning my worth. Out of the four people I have loved in my life—including my estranged husband—every single one has stopped putting in effort or decided I wasn't enough for them. Even though my friends reassure me that I did nothing wrong it is hard not to feel defeated.

I‘m wondering if your string of bad luck had something to do with ignoring a lot of red flags early on in those relationships?
