I hate how one thing throws me off so much
I just saw today that my ex started dating someone and it seems that they started dating someone in the middle of September when we broke up the 28th of August it hurts that someone can move on so fast I hate him so much but I still love him at the same time I hate how he moved on so fast! I hate how I still have feelings for him

god, seeing that timestamp gap hurts so damn bad. i caught my ex soft-launching someone new three weeks after pulling the plug on us, and i spent the entire night throwing up because it felt like my whole past was a lie. it makes total sense why you're furious and heartbroken all at once right now
honest advice that saved my sanity was blocking his social media immediately so i stopped playing detective. every time you check his page, you're just handing him the power to ruin your day all over again.
did you find out by accidentally stumbling across a post, or did someone point it out to you?
I was just looking at his gaming profile and i thought hey maybe let’s check who he follows and I see a girl name and that’s when I saw he was dating someone new
@WavyAndFree748 are you 100% sure he is dating someone or is just an assumption?
Psychologically speaking, people hardly ever move on that fast. He is more than likely just jumping into the same cycle he knows over and over again. Without sitting with himself to identify what he truly wants. Try your best to limit knowledge of what he is up to. Feel the feelings for now. You can get through it 💖
the thing is he’s never done this never moved on from someone this fast I mean I was his first and he was also my first so I’m not going to lie I feel used we dated for a year almost 2 years and his excuse was he’s busy with work and the distance is hurting him or something but yet gets with someone new less then a month later
@WavyAndFree748 Sounds like an avoidance tendency. Avoiding emotional closeness, finding a quick out, distracting himself with someone new so quickly. You deserve better than that. You deserve a secure partner that will be there with you through the thin and thick of life. Instead of viewing it as you feel used, view it as something positive. You love/d someone so much that you were able to love them that way. That is a reflection of you and the love you are capable of giving. If you can give that love to the wrong one, imagine how much more there is to give to the right one. The right one will know what to do with it.
@TurboZip167 I know I just it hurts more when you planned a future with him
@WavyAndFree748 I totally feel that. I gave my virginity to my ex (at the age of 24) because I was so confident that he would become my husband. We were planning to move in together, discussed starting a family, and briefly talked about marriage. We shared a car together, career planned, financially planned everything. He was the most serious relationship I ever had. It hurts A LOT. I can totally relate. But with someone like that, it won't ever work if you're extending yourself for someone who couldn't meet you halfway. You will find your person :) I hope it gets easier for you
