So I decided to break no-contact to check in on his mental health as a friend of his told me she’s very concerned about his depression. The conversation went good and I just kept it short. I reminded him that I don’t hate him and that he needs to basically keep making new friends. Should I go ahead and reset my date? I think I might, I feel like I can go more days of no-contact this time since I know he’s okay now.

You did what you needed to do and that’s totally fine.
It’s so thoughtful of you to check in and it sounds like you handled it perfectly.
It’s kind of you to check in and now that you know he’s okay you can focus on yourself again.
You handled that really well If resetting the date feels right go for it.
it’s great that you checked in and kept it short. Resetting the date might help you refocus on your healing journey
You did what felt right in the moment and that’s okay. Resetting the date sounds like a good idea if it helps you stay on track
Hey you have done a very Noble thing but it would be more honest if you reset the date since anyways the No Contact was broken
dont reset it, if it was just a nornal convo or respectful convo and does not involve u spreading ur feelingsto him then i think it might be okay to not reset it. But, idk how u guys ended, if it did not end well, i would recommend u to cut him off and move forward, u cant keep an empty bottle no matter how much u enjoy its taste..... if u guys did end things well and agreed to give each other space/ agreements to find each other when the time feels right, then i recommend u to just wait and go no contact, but if it did not end well, and u or him were disrespected, yk what to do. have a great day stranger
