When you and your ex are no longer in contact. Blocked everywhere. But they make a spotify playlist called "minor key me". Full of heart break songs. Me and my ex used to make playlists for each other. We didnt just listen to songs. We read into the lyrics too.

oh i'm stuck. like the songs are the words she can not say to me
from my side, i had to stop checking his spotify even though it hurt. every playlist felt like reopening the wound. not because i didn’t care, but because i cared too much.
ugh this hit me right in the chest. my ex blocked me everywhere too, but kept posting playlists like little emotional breadcrumbs. we used to dissect lyrics line by line, so seeing that felt intentional. like saying something without saying it. it MESSED with my head
