He constantly blames me; if I distance myself, he blames me, and if I get close, he ignores me. What does he want?! Why does he always resort to blaming and run away from confrontation? He makes me feel like I'm the devil incarnate.

gah that push pull thing is exhausting.
i dated a guy who did the same thing, blamed me when i stepped back and went cold when i tried to fix things. after a while i started believing i was the problem too. that mind game really messes with you
It helps to remind yourself that a healthy relationship doesn’t blame. That’s control.
I would like to tell you that men do this in order to maintain controll over. You'll always be the one to blame and will always be wrong nevertheless.
