after 17 months of lots of fighting and exhaustion and belittling that I ended and went back to hundreds of times, my ex finally said she’s done. it’s like my body doesn’t realize we’re done. I don’t know how to comprehend it.

does it feel like part of you is still waiting for her to come back like the other times, even if you know deep down this one might be different?
i was in something where we kept breaking and going back over and over, so when it finally ended for real my brain knew but my body just… didn’t catch up, i kept expecting them to come back like always.
i feel the same way, my body hasn’t fully processed that i can speak to this person anymore. it will take time
Yes it will take time. Youre in the wrong reality. thats what your system will keep telling you.
