I think the answer is likely that you need to value yourself as much as you value your ex. You deserve someone who will choose you. If you feel like you have work to do to attract the kind of person you want great! That's good information and still it let's you know that that energy needs to go back to you. often we use relationships to distract from being with ourselves and you deserve a really good relationship with yourself. I guess that is where I got stuck too, practically he is a 10/10, cooks, cleans, take care of the house ad the children but she it comes to anything remotely emotional or my emotional needs is realized with time he is not wired that way.
