I blocked my ex. He is still chatting to my mum and saying even if he is not in my life, he will watch from the sides. My mum is feeling sorry for him, thats why she is chatting to him. He sends goodmorning messages to her. What do I do? I dont want someone keeping tabs on my life. He told my mum not to tell me he is chatting to her.

did your mum know he specifically asked her to hide the chats from you? because that part feels really important to me. like deep down he KNOWS this crosses a line.
i think you need to be really direct with your mum about how this is affecting YOU, not him. i had to tell my own family that even if they felt bad for my ex, i needed privacy and space to heal more than he needed updates about my life.
my ex used to keep contact with my sister after i blocked him and it felt like i could never fully breathe or move on because there was always this feeling of him still hovering around my life somewhere. that “i’ll watch from the sides” comment would’ve freaked me out honestly.
Have you tried telling your mum that you ont want someone keeping tabs on your life, either that or you get your mums phone and block him on there
just tell your mom to cut him off, he decided tthat he doesn’t want you in his life so is not a game
