so my boyfriend broke up with me yesterday if you’ve seen my other post you know what happened but I have his hoodie in my room sitting on my bed from Monday when he gave it to me. I can keep the hoodie intill Monday or I could give it back today. I’m leaving town for 4 days tomorrow and I won’t see daisy ( my ex ) intill Monday. So what should I do

the hoodie part always hurts more than people realize 😭 i remember staring at my ex’s sweatshirt for DAYS after we broke up because giving it back felt too final. i ended up waiting until i was less emotionally wrecked so i wouldn’t turn the exchange into another heartbreak moment.
I did it today but I just gave it to his mum

Hey girl, Seeing him is no use. After you break up for real, the most important thing is letting the feelings completely kick in and going through all phases that come with it. It’s hard but very rewarding when you stay strong long enough to get through it. Every time there is any contact between you at all, you will set yourself back to square one and trust me the feelinf you get afterwards really sucks. It’s never worth it. He probably doesn’t care about the hoodie and if he really does, you can make sure it gets to him without seeing him in person. Don’t look for an excuse to get in touch.

I would put the hoodie in a bag and I would let dude know where he can pick it up while I am away. The reason you're on this app is to get over wanting to see him.
