my ex suddenly got interested again the second someone else was giving me attention, and it left me so confused about what was real and what was jealousy.
i'd pay close attention to whether he's back because he genuinely wants to rebuild something or because he doesn't like the idea of losing access to you. those ended up being very different things in my own situation.
he said he wanted to reconcile at the end of the year at first because hes life was in a mess at first
was he making any effort to come back before he found out about the other guy, or did that only happen after he learned you were talking to someone new?
