we made it one day no contact. I said if you do not want to try to make it work or come back please don’t text me or call. kept sending me photos reels etc but no real re connection. kept saying you don’t know I’m not coming back bla bla. I said only contact me when you want to try again. I kept getting hope we would be back together. is this the right decision? I said I wouldn’t answer any calls or texts. no text no calls for 1 day.

my ex kept sending memes and random messages after the breakup, just enough to keep me hoping but never enough to actually fix anything. that in-between space hurt more than the silence did.
exactly that’s why I cut it off. either come back or don’t there is not in between.
i honestly think setting that boundary was the right move.

before you asked for no contact, was he actually doing anything to rebuild the relationship, or was he mostly sending little things that kept you emotionally attached without giving you a clear answer?

I don't know. I can't answer that. but if you feel it's needed time away at minimum to reevaluate then, yes. maybe yall find your way back after processing. give it a few days.
