my ex hasn’t taken all their stuff yet. break up end of may.
when we first met I gave them a necklace for good luck and they always had it with them in a bag or wearing. it was their good luck charm.
I was just walking in the bedroom and I put a rosary in that box just wanted to look at it and I found the necklace in there.
how long has it been here?
I didn’t want it back.

that's such a painful thing to stumble across.
I haven’t made great progress honestly but I’ve done good in the no contact. this just made me feel so sad and unwanted
my ex left little things behind too, but finding something that meant THAT much years later would've broken me. i'd have wondered the exact same thing.
this made me wonder, are they coming back to collect the rest of their things, or does finding the necklace make you feel like this was their way of saying goodbye for good?
they could have put it in their because it was too hard for them to have right now. if it’s in the box with their other stuff, they may be wanting it back eventually but it may be too hard to have right now. just a thought!
most of their stuff is gone the important stuff at least. I don’t think it hurts them it is probably just to hurt me and diminish what we had.
