Hej, it has been a bit over two weeks since my break-up (after 3,5 years). I found out, it is very helpful to stop stalking and contacting the person imidiatelly and it reeeally helped a lot. I still feel negate emotions, of course, but they are much more weaker. Stick with it, guys, our nervous system just needs to figure out how to function without the person.
I actually think, it is crazy, how much have changed inside of my head after that short amount of time.
I am not saying I am okay already, but I know I will be, I am figuring things about myself and each day moving on seems more and more like a fun journey than impossible one.
Stay strong guys (and girls) 💪, we will look at this posts after some time and will be proud how well we managed things and how much personal growth it provided.

honestly no contact was the thing that helped me stop reopening the wound every day. i still had bad moments, but i started feeling like myself again little by little.
what was the hardest part of those first few days of no contact for you? was it the urge to reach out or the quiet after losing that daily connection
The urge was very strong, but it was there mainky because of the lost connection. Mornings still feel lonely
love reading this because i remember how scary those first few weeks felt for me too. i kept checking my ex’s socials and every little thing pulled me right back in. two weeks of no contact felt impossible at first, then my mind finally started getting quieter.
really needed this motivation, thank you!!
im at the gym now doing a light workout. A month ago I would be absolutely hating it. But now it feels okay. Its only day 6 since I have reached out to her first, but this time Im moving forward and not going back to a toxic dynamic with her. She does not fit in my long term vision. Its just hard leaving behind 3 years of history , ya know ?
I totally understand, stay strong
thank you for your words 🙏🏽 they have inspired me to keep going these up and down emotions are hard but you give me a timeliness to look forward to
