I recently broke up with my girlfriend. After the breakup I made a really impulsive decision and sent her a photo of me with an old ex to make it look like I had already moved on and was seeing someone else.
Now I'm regretting it. I keep wondering how that must have made her feel and whether I completely ruined any chance of us ever getting back together.
Has anyone done something like this before? Is there still any possibility of rebuilding things after sending something so hurtful or have I likely closed that door?
