so me and now my ex were friends back in 2023 we were chating all the time and playing games and video calling , we never saw each other irl , we were in realy good friedship , some times he was flirting with me bud when i asked him if we can be together he said that he wants to stay friends so we did and i found a boyfriend , he was mad at me a called it a cheating but we werent even together . Fast forward me and him talked like a friends sometimes and me and my boyfriend of 2 and a half years broke up. After 2 months this ex shows up in my dream and the day after he texted me. He asked what happened and he said tgat he is sorry and that me and my ex bf (the one of 2 years) were his fav couple. I didint pay much attention to him until he started flirting with me again, i wasnt sure how to take it so i just was being friendly.He saw things others didnt , he told me that i need to eat ( had a bad relationship with food) a he was sweet , i started to like him. i told him that i like him and he did the same but we agreed that we need to see irl before we got together. Back and forward i was on a train to his town , it was great, we laughed , we has cute and we kissed so we got together for real. But when i was leaving we was sad and didnt talk to me the whole ride to the train station .He said he was tired and that has nothing to do with me . i belived him and i just got on a train , half of the ride home he blocked me on instagram so i called him and he disnt pick up . He texted me that he cant do long distance and he is sorry for giving me mixed signals . We talked it thru ans he said he will think about it.. it was sad but he said we can make this work.. he said it in friday and on monday my parents were out of town and he could sleep over so that is what we planed . Fast forward to monday he texted he was on his way here but he turned off his location on intagram and unaaded me on bump , i didnt think much of it but still asked him . He played it off saying that his friend said it too and that its a bug. So i made my way by a bus to a city where we said we will meet . I texted him that i will be there in 5 minutes and he should wait for me , when i got there i called him and he was nowhere to be seen , i called him like 10 times and texted him where he is . Then i get snap from him , he was in a different town with a girl friend . it killed me because he said that i really thought HE would be with ME and that i need to lower my standards. he blocked me on there so I blocked him on instagram and he blocked me on tiktok . Now i only have his phone number , his WhatsApp and his discord .. sometimes i miss the time we saw each other for the first tim beacase he was really nice to me and i really started to love him.. well that why i am here.. he did and awfull things but i still want to text him :/ hope i will get over him 🫶🏻

the pull to text him is the worst part, i get it. deleting the number and the discord the same day i felt that urge, because every time i gave in it just reset the clock on the pain.
what do you think you’re hoping he’ll say if you reach out right now?
i dont know to be fair, i think he would make fun of me but part of me hopes that he will change and regret the mistake that he made
i had almost the exact same thing with a guy i only knew online for years, he pulled me in with the soft care and the “we’ll figure it out” talks, then stood me up and said i should lower my standards. the part where you still miss the first time you met even after all that is so real.
